Bi State Container is merging with Gardner Disposal Service!
This summer will bring along a few changes for both companies. Roll-off services will be
incorporated with Gardner Disposal Service, Inc. You may continue to contact (913) 707-3832
for all your roll-off needs. This website will still remain available for now.

JUNE 2010:
Bi State Container will discontinue the recycle drop-off in Gardner, KS.
June 26, 2010 will be the last day for the free drop off facility. But don't fret! With the merging
of Gardner Disposal Service, Inc., curbside recycle service will be available July 2010. You may
contact Gardner Disposal at (913) 856-3851 to sign up for this service.
June Recycle Schedule: Closed June 5th; Open 8:30 a.m.-Noon June 12th, 19th & 26th.
The Ripple Glass container will remain on site for your glass disposal.

Johnson County Solid Waste Code changes to take effect January 1, 2011.
Two major changes will take effect January 1, 2011. A) All haulers will be required to provide
curbside recycle services to all Johnson County residents. B) Yard waste will be banned from
any landfill or transfer station in Johnson County. Therefore, no yard waste can be picked up or
mixed with household garbage. Contact your hauler for yard waste removal options. You may
go to www.jocorecycles.org for more information about these changes.
